It is unclear what remote audio device is in comparison to Audio device, Changing it does not matter.
Selecting a device as microphone and speaker did not matter for the audio device in all cases.
I had TVSet attached via HDMI which also has a speaker, the audio output remained on this speaker regardless what audio device i selected on either remotr audio or audio. Only disconnecting the hdmi cable helped.
Addendum:
This seems to be the same problem as for video. The settings from the othe browser tab, had priority instead of the settings in the active browser tab.
